Livingston Unico

Livingston UNICO is the local chapter of UNICO National, the largest Italian American service organization in the United States. Based in Livingston, NJ, our chapter is dedicated to promoting and preserving Italian-American heritage while making a meaningful difference through community service, cultural events, and fundraising initiatives. We operate under the core principle of Service Above Self, guided by our five foundational values: Unity, Neighborliness, Integrity, Charity, and Opportunity.

Our chapter actively supports numerous charitable, scientific, cultural, educational, and literary projects that benefit the Livingston community and beyond. We organize signature events including the annual Nonnas Pasta Dinner celebrating authentic Italian culinary traditions, Columbus Day Flag Raising ceremonies, and community block parties. Beyond cultural programming, Livingston UNICO provides essential support to local organizations and causes, including Alzheimer's research, cancer research, youth scholarships, and civic organizations such as the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department and Livingston Neighbors Helping Neighbors.

Through our scholarship awards program, youth initiatives like the Brian Piccolo Award, and partnerships with local schools and organizations, we invest in the future of our community.
